Analysis and treatment methods of common faults of bag dust collector

Bag dust collector is currently an advanced and efficient equipment and is widely used in industries with high dust pollution concentration such as metallurgy, mechanical processing, and building materials. The efficient and stable operation of dust removal equipment is very important. Once there is a problem with the equipment, it will directly affect the dust removal efficiency.

1. The filter bag is clogged
Cause Analysis:
① If the filter bag is clogged due to water leakage and getting wet, the leakage should be solved, dried, and cleaned repeatedly.
② The hanging method of the filter bag is incorrect and insufficient tension causes blockage. The hanging method should be improved.
③ If the filter bag is clogged due to excessive filtration wind speed, the air volume should be adjusted appropriately.
④ Due to high dust moisture content causing filter bag clogging, thermal insulation and heating measures should be strengthened.
⑤ If the filter bag is clogged due to poor dust cleaning, the dust cleaning device should be improved or manual cleaning should be strengthened.

2. Abnormal vibration of the fan
Cause Analysis:
① Unbalance due to wear or damage of the impeller; ② Unbalance due to fixed dust on the impeller; ③ Shaft bending; ④ Unbalanced coupling; ⑤ Collision and friction between the rotor and the shell; ⑥ Incomplete contact of the sealing gland; ⑦ Pressure fluctuation, Surge.

3. Ash coming out of the chimney
Cause Analysis:
① Filter bag leakage: Replace the filter bag if it is torn or has small holes. Check the spring coil installation to make sure it is tight. ②Flower board leakage: gap filling or welding seam. Not enough dust cake: reduce compressed air pressure; reduce cleaning frequency/inject neutral modulated powder to generate primary dust cake. ③The filter bag or filter cartridge has too many pores: Perform a penetration test on the filter bag or filter cartridge, and consult the manufacturer.

4. The pulse valve injection is weak
Cause Analysis:
① The orifice of the large diaphragm is too large or there are sand holes on the diaphragm, and the exhaust hole is partially blocked. ②The pressure of the compressed air source is too low. ③The dust cleaning nozzle is misaligned or blocked.

5. The solenoid valve does not work or leaks air
Cause Analysis:
① The coil is damaged, open circuit, poor contact, and there is no signal from the controller. ② The diaphragm is damaged and deformed, impurities are stuck on the diaphragm, the diaphragm cannot be reset normally, the spring fails or the exhaust hole is blocked. ③ Excessive injection pressure may damage components.

6. Poor cylinder action
Cause Analysis:
①Poor operation of the solenoid valve; ②Air leakage; ③Piston rod rust; ④Compressed air pipe damaged; ⑤Compressed air pipe joints cracked and separated; ⑥Insufficient pressure of compressed air; ⑦Pressure not reached; ⑧Piston rod broken; ⑨Poor sealing packing.

7. Poor dust cleaning
Cause Analysis:
① The filter bag is too tight; ② The filter bag is loose; ③ The dust is moist; ④ The filter bag is in an expanded state during dust cleaning (the reversing valve and other valves are poorly sealed or malfunctioning); ⑤ The dust cleaning mechanism is malfunctioning; ⑥ The dust cleaning valve is malfunctioning ; ⑦ The cleaning timer time setting value is incorrect or malfunction occurs; ⑧ The back-blowing air volume is insufficient.
