What is the best injection pressure for the pulse jet dust collector?
What is injection pressure?
The injection pressure: the pressure at which the pulse valve is opened and the compressed air is injected into the dust collector. The higher the blowing pressure, the faster the blowing speed and the better the cleaning effect. After the pressure drop of the bag filter is limited, the higher the injection pressure, the greater the processing capacity. However, if the injection pressure is too high, the phenomenon of excessive dust cleaning will also occur: the bag filter has an instant “ash” phenomenon, which will affect the purification efficiency. It can be seen that the filtration effect will be affected if the injection pressure is too low or too high.
Find right blowing pressure:
A considerable part of the pressure of the compressed air is consumed in overcoming the resistance of the injection system itself, and its value can reach more than 0.2MPa, of which the resistance of the pulse valve accounts for a large part. In recent years, several low-resistance pulse valves have appeared, such as straight-through pulse valves and double-diaphragm low-pressure pulse valves. Because its internal resistance is greatly reduced, the injection pressure is also reduced accordingly, and the minimum injection pressure can reach 0.2-0.3MPa.
In addition, increasing the diameter of the air bag and the injection pipe, and replacing the injection hole with a nozzle can reduce the injection pressure.
In addition to considering the resistance of the pulse valve, the injection pressure should also consider the length of the filter bag. The short filter bag should use a low injection pressure, and the long filter bag should increase the injection pressure accordingly.
For a filter bag with a length of 2m and a low-pressure straight-through pulse valve, the injection pressure is generally not greater than 0.45~0.55MPa.
Most of the flat bag dust collectors use high-pressure angle pulse valves, and the injection pressure can be appropriately increased to 0.6MPa.
